Nah, not really. I tried watching "Lord of the Rings" but couldn't make it through the trilogy, mainly coz Peter Jackson's interpretations of LOTR deviated from the images I'd created in my lil imagination, sometimes mildly and at other times wildly. I HATE it when that happens. Still and even, the special effects were pretty good and look good here, as well.

Saturday: A Movie I Might Watch
Nah, not really. I was disappointed in the movie interpretation as well.
ReplyDeleteBut then, I have almost always found the movie versions of almost any book have not met my expectations.
I don't believe I've EVER seen a movie that was better than the book.
DeleteThe Trilogy was only good if you watched it like it was just a movie and not made from good books. Parts that deviated from the books made me crazy. I have not seen the Hobbit. Jesse said it was long and boring.
