Today's Happy Hour...

... began on the verandah, attired thusly:

My trusty A2 provided enough warmth to get through the first beer... but we only did one such outdoors before retiring to the interior warmness of El Casa Móvil De Pennington.  It was barely 60 degrees outside this afternoon and there's precious little warmth in the sun these days.  So... back inside for the second and subsequent beer(s).  We began with a Mothership Wit before we moved on to a Blue Moon.  It seems like Wit Bier is appropriate today... I dunno why.  Mayhap because it tastes good; screw the "less filling" bits.

  1. Still in the 60's here. Just had a Moon River Pizza and a couple glasses of Erie Brewing, "Misery Bay" IPA. So I am stuffed and watching video's on your blog.

Spousal Unit is catching up on CSI, so here I am.

On that last video; Great stuff.

  2. It was a high of 28 today with a wind chill in the single digits. Worse tomorrow.

Sounds like you had a good & varied happy hour Buck. Good on ya!

You'd have stayed inside all day if you'd been down here. Home for lunch at 12:15, temp was 37, wind chill 32. Smarts quite a bit for old ladies. :-) Sun tried to shine a little in the PM but didn't help much. Back up in the 50s tomorrow. I'm ready for Spring!!

  4. Come help us build some fence. 2 1/2 miles of it. That will make you feel the warmth. LOL!

  5. Yesterday turned out pretty nice here. As long as the wind is not blowing, it has been pleasant.

  6. Love the ole A2, I think I have 3 of them. :)

Sadly, even with the liner, the A2 ain't much good up here right now; highs of <30F. Brrrrrr ;)

  7. Darryl: Florida does have its advantages!

    Kris: Aiiieee! Button up, Girl!

Katy: I'm ready for Spring already, as well. And we have two more months of this stuff... here, at least.

Jenny: May I have a raincheck, please? ;-)

Rude1: I love my A2. It's well over 20 years old now and has the most wonderful patina. There's nothing like well-aged leather. Nothing.

  8. You'll forgive me if I don't feel sorry for any of you and your weather...temps currently in the lower single digits on their way to around -10 and we got around 4 feet of snow between Monday and Wednesday.
