People from CA were buying up desert around Taos, like they had water rights or something. We sold our house for a pretty penny - thank the Callifornians. I hope the CA's don't come back to Oklahoma!
I'm sure there's some truth in your metaphor, Skip. Speaking only for myself, though... I left the Bay Area because of the cost o' living and the tax burden. It's prolly different in Anderson, though.
About the only ones left will be the nearly 1 million SEIU guys and gals. They kinda helped along this exodus too. Great cartoon.
