The Best of All Possible Worlds... In Two Flavors

First... the best possible outcome of the ACA decision:

Yup.  Congrats, Donkeys.  It's a TAX, and we won't forget it.

And the best of all possible worlds, period:
Air Frame: The United States celebrates its 236th year of independence on July 4, 2012. "Thanks to the vision of our Founding Fathers and the commitment of the courageous men and women who fought to win American independence, we inherit a legacy of freedom based on the idea that all people possess certain unalienable rights—to life, to liberty, and to the pursuit of happiness," wrote Air Force Secretary Michael Donley, Chief of Staff Gen. Norton Schwartz, and CMSAF James Roy in their Independence Day message to airmen. They added, "This Fourth of July, let us recommit ourselves to doing all that we can to ensure that our children, our grandchildren, and the generations that follow will enjoy the freedoms that are our birthright as Americans." 1. Trouble is Romney is weak on the Obamacare being a tax issue, as he is on a number of things. He seems concerned that because his Romneycare was a tax, even though that is exactly how they told it to the people of Massachusetts , he is not going out there and talking about the out and out lies of the dhimicrats saying all along it wasn't a tax.

The other issue is this stupid ruling opens the door to far greater intrusion in our lives by having the government now to be able to make you do anything by imposing a tax on it.

We have lost a ton of freedom over the years, and it ain't going to get any better.

BTW... RIP Andy Griffith. He was a foolish liberal, but he brought us a lot of joy through his show. Funny how that common sense stuff he did in that show would be mocked by the left today.

    1. It's early days, Anon. Romney isn't even the official nominee as yet. Just wait... he'll take it to The One, in spades. Oops... was that racist?

    2. With Duh One everything is racist.

I think Romney has already shown he has people in place that respond quickly and well to most of the things going on. The response so far to Obamacare has not been good. He and his people are insisting it is a penalty rather than a tax. His problem is Romneycare, which is a tax. Yet the whole time that mess of healthcare stuff with Romney was said to be a tax , it was sold that way. He is trying too hard to differentiate between Obamacare and Romneycare, when he should put it out that they both are taxes, but only Duh One lied about it, and made it seem as if it. Was something it wasn't. Why is that so hard for politicians to do?

A stat e driven thing is a lot different than the power grab of the dems on this issue. If a state is stupid enough to want this crap, that is up to that state. With Obamacare there is massive overtaking, rather than just the will of the people of one state.

I just worry that Romney will be another McLame who is afraid to be outspoken on one of the big issues.

Just be polite... that's all I ask.
