ReplyDeleteI got to go the Gathering of The War Birds at Madera in 1988. That was some show! Lefty Gardner's P-38 was there! It is now the Red Bull Lightning.

ReplyDeleteGlenn: There's no such thing as a bad day at an airshow... unless there's a crash. And the old warbirds are the BEST.
That was fun. I think I need to see an air show. It has been a while. I remember my first air show at Shepard when I was about 12 years old.

ReplyDeleteBuck, we've been having some problems with our old monitor, so this past weekend we got a new 20" flatscreen Samsung. And then I check your blog and find this beautiful vid. All I can say is, wow! What a show! And this vid makes me wonder what all I've missed with my old POS. Thanks for this.
