This is my absolute favorite short film of all time. The blurb in French at the beginning sez the film was shot in real time without any cuts and was not sped up. Here's Claude Lelouch racing through the early morning streets of Paris in a Ferrari 275GTB (supposedly, see the Wiki page) on his way to a rendezvous in Montmarte.
The film has its own page at the Wiki, too. I count 17 red lights run, one short diversion on to the sidewalk, and only one missed up-shift. You?

I love this short film with all my heart, but I do not for one second buy that there are no f/x employed. ;-)
ReplyDeleteLike what sort of FX, Barry? It looks pretty straight up to me...
