Heh

Sent by a friend...

The Lemon Picker
The  woman applying for a job in a Florida lemon
grove seemed to be far too qualified for the job.
The foreman frowned and said, "I have to ask you this:
"Have you had any actual experience in picking lemons?
"Well, as a matter of fact, I have!"
I've been divorced three times, owned two Chryslers,
and I voted for Obama."

Heh.  The attitude in play here used to be known as the triumph of optimism over experience.  That was, of course, before the 2008 election.  We won't speak of our own lemon-picking experience but I will say I didn't vote for Obama.  And I've had some pretty cool cars.

  1. Agreed - very amusing. And sadly, it's true for many people, at least the voted-for-Obama part.

  2. This is a good one.

I had one lemon car -- the engine would just turn off, no matter the speed you were travelling. It wasn't my choice to buy it -- I was talked into it.

Fortunately, I wasn't talked into voting for O'bam. Nor shall I be in any future elections (unless, of course, I won a seat in Congress and could cast an impeachment vote).

  3. Kris: There's still a hardcore group of folks out there who don't realize they bought a pig in a poke. But those types are generally clue-free about MOST things.

Moogie: I think impeachment on General Principles... while not exactly Constitutional... would be a good idea.

  4. Well, I have owned 4 GM's (slow learner), but I didn't vote for Barry Bahama.

Just be polite... that's all I ask.
