More Little Feat...
And you know that you're over the hillWell now... HOW appropriate is this? The thought will have to do now, won't it? Coz while the spirit may be willing the flesh is weak, indeed. Ah, well. No one gets out of here alive, according to Mr. Morrison.
When your mind makes a promise that your body can't fill
Doin' the old folks boogie
And boogie we will
'Cause to us the thought's as good as a thrill
As I have stated before - you have excellent taste in music - love me some Little Feat.
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling better.
I know this feeling, but I keep pushing the flesh to keep up.
ReplyDeletePS. I thought of you at the Painted Ladies yesterday. Glenna put on some sort of flute music again, until I protested. Then she put on some other weird 70's disco music - I protested again. I kept thinking they needed a lesson in good music.
ReplyDeleteGood Lord. That was on The Midnight Special, way back when I was, like, 17? And now it fits...
ReplyDeleteMoogie (& Jim): The tune used to make me smile in the way-back but it ain't funny any longer, yanno?
ReplyDeleteKris: Thank ya, Ma'am!
Lou: I hear ya about pushin' it, but there comes a time...
It's my opinion that some people just don't "get" music. How else can one explain all the krep that sells?
The "krep" that sells will continue to be a wonder to all the people buying the other "krep"!!
ReplyDeleteLove hearing music that you/we enjoy and then it brings a memory, too. :)
