Breakfast is my favorite meal, regardless of what time of day it is. I'm an eggs over medium kind of guy myself, but no, you can't err with a cheese omelet.
BR: When I was a young troop I used to hit midnite chow regularly... which was always breakfast (I think you squidly sorta guys call it mid rats). Breakfast was the ONE meal USAF cooks (and contractors) couldn't screw up and was always and ever the BEST meal available. I STILL miss the SOS, in particular.

Still true...at least two years ago, anyway. Breakfast was my favorite meal at Field Training, and about the only one that was guaranteed to not suck. The first week or so was the best because when Mrs. Johnston (still remember her name) was serving the bacon, she'd give me as much as I wanted, which was always a ridiculous amount (we're talking like 10+ strips). That didn't fly too long, though, and after a couple times of that she told me she could only give me 5 per meal.
