And on an ENTIRELY different note... (3:21)
That's the BEST "Year In Review" I've ever seen. Bar none.

If a lifetime can be likened to a day, then this is Happy Hour!
Uncle Jay was great! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI like Uncle Jay! LOL! that was great!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ladies!
ReplyDeleteThanks Buck - I laughed out loud when the shoe came flying outta nowhere.. even though the real incident was no laughing matter. David Letterman did his usual "Top Ten" on why we would miss Bush. Not very flattering to say the least... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8px_KyIFyo
ReplyDeleteUncle Jay's a riot.... thanks!
Thanks for the link, Alison. Letterman's one of those comics who ain't so danged funny... to my eyes, anyhoo. But it takes all kinds, I suppose.
ReplyDeleteI loved the second one! Couldn't stop smiling the whole way through. You find the best stuff.
ReplyDeleteOn the first vid........I admit it, I'm a girl. That closet was to die for. The beer room was cool, but the closet won my heart.
Stole one (in the hopper); linked to the other. Awesome.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you about Letterman. Kind of sad to see them do that to Bush when he did so many good things. I meant to comment on the first vid but forgot to... I liked the beer cooler... much more than the fancy shmanzy closet, but then again I wear a uniform every day to work... and casual dress the rest of the time... but boy oh boy would I like to have a cooler like that in my basement! (And a rec room with a pool table, dart board, card table, big screen tv and a built in bar, lazy boy recliners.... sigh, maybe some day!)

ReplyDeleteNothing wrong with that. That's how we roll, innit? ;-)
And thank you very much for the "best stuff" comment... you know I eat that sorta stuff up!
Doc: Thank ya, Sir!
Alison: I want that kind of rec room when I grow up, too!! ;-)
Speaking of comedians making fun of Bush: I saw a news exerpt on the Today Show interviewing different comedians and what they would miss about Bush. They all said something along the lines of missing his dumbness, his lack of being able to speak the English language, etc, but said they were glad that "smart is now in." I wondered how a comedian could think himself smarter than a president who graduated from Yale, was a fighter pilot, etc.
ReplyDeleteI wondered how a comedian could think himself smarter than a president...
ReplyDeleteHubris, plain and simple. Not to mention ignorance on a gargantuan scale. Frickin' idjits.
@Buck and Lou: YGTBFKM! I voted for him, twice. Didn't know better the first time. Lesser of evils the second. But really, ya'll, "smart" is not on this president's resume. Period. Got into Yale and the Oval Office on Daddy's coat tails. Means well, I think. Probably a "good man." But smart? No. Sadly, most dumb comedians probably surpass him that arena. All IMHO of course.
ReplyDeleteFunny and brilliant! Uncle Jay is a genius! Yeah, where do you find all this neat stuff?
