There's a light dusting of snow on the ground, too, but it's the wind that makes it Not Nice outside. Glad we don't have anywhere to go.

If a lifetime can be likened to a day, then this is Happy Hour!
Even though you've clued me in on your weather before, it still shocks me when I see that you don't have hot and arid temps all the time. Bundle up!
ReplyDeleteWe've had that kind of weather here for the past 3 days. Now tomorrow we're supposed to have temps int he 50s, then they'll plunge to the 20s by nightfall.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to New England!
Hmm... I guess I shouldn't mention that us northern people got past 50degrees today. I even took a picture of our first December dandelion in bloom. (WTF!)
ReplyDeleteI did venture out in it today!! I had planned on going to Clovis, but after running 5 errands in Pville and dealing with the wind and carseat buckling and unbuckling, I decided Big(ger) town can wait for a slightly better day.
ReplyDeleteHope your propane held out!
i'm assuming a jaunt around town leather bound with a bike between the wickets isn't in the near future. Weather like this sho do make a man need a farplace.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget that Tipsy Pixie recipe....sounds like you could use it.
Brrrrrrrrrrrr!
ReplyDeleteThanks, but NO thanks! I don't blame you for staying inside. Drink hot beverages, stay toasty.
I'm thinking we had the same weather as Portales. I loved the music and video.
ReplyDeleteJim and Kris: We have just enough miserable days here on The High Plains of NM to make us appreciate the good ones! We'll warm up today... it's supposed to be in the low 50s.
ReplyDeleteMichelle: Yeah, that happens occasionally. But I see by looking at the WX Channel that your good weather will be short-lived.
Jay: No mo'sickle rides in my immediate future, LOL! And thanks for the reminder about the drink...
Christina sez: Drink hot beverages, stay toasty.
That's EGGS-zactly what I did yesterday! That, and watch tumbleweeds speed by my window.
Lou: Thanks for noticing (and watching/listening) the vid. I was gonna comment that my readers are Philistines with no appreciation for the finer things in life (insert smiley-face here), but I most definitely should have known you'd appreciate it.
I could use some of that cold air. Frost over the weekend, then in the seventies yesterday. Bleh! Then again, maybe I'll take advantage of the sudden warm spell to smoke a cigar on the pier. I'll think of you if I do, Buck. Maybe even send a photo. Not that it'll help much. Stay warm.
ReplyDeleteDoc: Yeah, your WX ain't exactly seasonal, is it? We're out of the deep freeze for the time being, and that's a good thing. I still haven't been outside with a cigar yet, though. I'll think of you enjoying yours...
