Saturday: Foreign Experiences

This almost makes me wanna renew my passport.  Almost, but not quite.  I would like to see Vilnius, though.

And then there's this:

Futbol.  Meh.

An old college friend of mine works in Russia doing bi-lingual advertising. He said Lithuania/Latvia/Estonia are AWESOME. They really enjoy when Americans visit. They also like our greenbacks. He said he could get an excellent steak dinner and all the beer he could drink for about $4.

    1. I've heard nothing but good things from the people I know who have been there, so you re-enforce what I've heard, Inno. I'm also told the Baltic States have some of the most beautiful women on the planet.

  2. That kind of football is all about defense.
The lower the score, the better the game.

    1. Last night was a REALLY slow night on teevee... so I watched some of NBCSN's coverage of the Premier league. They showed mostly highlights during the hour I watched and I suppose the coverage was OK. At least the commentators were British and the studio analysts were, as well. I'm still "meh" on the game itself.

    2. I can enjoy the games more than in some other sports because the only vested interest I have is when the U.S. teams play...
...and it seems they are much more competitive now than in the past, particularly the women.

    3. @ IT: I always watch the US women play in the Olympics. I suppose it's a red, white, and blue thing.

Just be polite... that's all I ask.
