Saturday: Comparative Linguistics

OK, a lil bit over-done with the guy in the Tyrolean hat.  But the French girl... elle est charmant, n'est pas?

The first runner-up was John Oliver's take on the royal baby, but I just couldn't go there.

    1. I couldn't go with Oliver... I thought his commentary rather disrespectful. YMMV, of course.

    1. Thanks for that, Christiane... it was beautiful. But there's this about that: Mais l'amour ne conduit pas la danse plus longtemps ...

    2. I was going to say elle est charmant, but thought she was too young, then I remembered the old song: too young or not, it's love that leads the dance :-)

For whatever it's worth, I think German language and songs are like fingernails on the chalkboard, well except for um-pah music served with a big juicy piece of pork and a stein of beer.

    3. I'll second all o' that, especially the beer and schnitzel bits. ;-)

Just be polite... that's all I ask.
