A Preemptive Post

    Today I engraved the back of a watch for a mo'sickle cop's retirement. I engraved an image of a wheel with wings on it, and his badge #. For about 1/5 of a second I thought "Buck would like this" then I had to get right back to struggling with my frantic workload.

      I'd always associated the winged wheel with motor cops until I became a Wings fan; that symbolism goes way back. But you're right: I like the ideer!

      That may be part of it, OG. The Wings did just finish a seven game series this past Sunday, flew into Detroit from Anaheim on Monday, then played again last night. They weren't exactly fresh.

    Won't pretend to be disappointed in that outcome. Jimmy Howard's having a pretty good run this year. He should bring the rest of the team with him to one of these games.
