How I Spent My Mornin', Or...

... it's always SUMTHIN', this time it's in the El Casa Móvil De Pennington Department.

Hookin' up

ECMdP, departing

Long story short: ECMdP won't start.  I tried everythang in my power... and in her prospective new owner's power, too... but nada.  So she's now in residence at the Ford House, where I have no doubt whatsoever that she'll soon be back in fine fettle.  I DO wonder, however, what the bill is gonna be.  No matter... what needs to be done, will be done.

Yes, I have a buyer... a retired couple who plan to use ECMdP for getaways and such.  They assured me they still want her, even if she embarrassed me by refusing to start for the test drive.

It's always SUMTHIN'.

    1. Virgil. Mah MAN. You're not paying attention... I've had a page at the very top of my sidebar called "El Casa Móvil De Pennington Is For Sale" since about May of this year.

    2. I know, Buck, but who said I wanted to buy it? I was planning a quick-move-in-in-the-middle-of-the-night one-man "Occupy El Casa" movement. :)

  2. Sorry about El Casa not starting, but that is great that she is sold. Check that off the to-do list.

  3. Wow. There's little more embarrassing than selling a vehicle and then having it not start up for the person to whom you're trying to sell it. Seems you have an understanding couple there, though, so you were blessed.

  4. Congrats on the sale and on finding buyers who are - reasonable. Shit happens and it's nice that they understand.

  5. Sorry to see the old girl go. But glad your buyers are still interested. Is the Green Hornet next?

    1. TGH will prolly wind up somewhere other than my driveway... it's the "when" that's the question.

  6. Hmm. TGH could be a driver for a certain 16 year old...
The RV's are just like boats; Gotta run 'em fairly often or they forget to go.
