I'm sorry for the loss that so many feel about Lex's death. Honestly, I didn't follow the man's work. But, from all the tributes I read to him, I wish now that I had.
It's not too late to know the man Andy; his blog will remain active until at least July. And if you read any of it - you'll know him. He shared his inner-self with all of us.
I miss his voice so very much. Such an incredible person in every way.
Yep! Put me down with your sentiments.
ReplyDeleteI'm tipping my cold beer in hizzoner.
Always the good ones going early, never the neanderfux who ruin instead of build.
Too true about our best and brightest leaving us early... much TOO early. We, too, are raising our glass at this hour. In fond remembrance.

ReplyDeleteWhat Kris said, Andy.
DeleteLots of neaderfuxes go early too, we just don't notice them like we do the good ones. Lex was definitely a good one and will be missed.
ReplyDeleteI find it so strange that his death affects us so... a man whom most of his readers never met. He leaves a helluva void.
