Heh

Occasional Reader Katy sent along this video as a stand-alone .wmv attachment, so naturally I had to go look for it on the 'net.

  1. I've actually had some of those experiences with geese and chickens. I'm not a bird person, but I do like cats and they eat birds too.

  3. Lou: I've been assaulted by geese, too. Nasty freakin' things, they are.

Moogie: It's in Bouie's genes to be aggressive towards birds, innit?

You ain't lived 'til you've been flogged by a mean rooster all the way from an outdoor toilet back to your grandmother's house and you running just as fast as little legs will go - screaming all the way! :-)

  6. You know, those poor kids in that video are likely to be traumatized for life! They might not remember WHY they're afraid of/hate birds, but they will. YIKES.

    I had a face-off with a gander once, I won! I guess my hissing was louder...LOL!

  7. My encounters with geese were MUCH less positive than yours, Christina.
