Today

To all our veterans and those serving: I salute you.  Enjoy your day!

And to our friends and allies in the Commonwealth celebrating Remembrance Day: I salute your fallen and remember their sacrifice.

  2. A suitably sad and sombre day here in London marked by sincere reverance. Weather to match. Very proud of Londoners today. Thanks for remembering Buck.

  3. And Happy Veterans Day across the Pond. Different sentiment I guess but the pride, tributes and thanks are very much the same.

  4. Thank you all!

Alison sez: Very proud of Londoners today. Thanks for remembering Buck.

I had the honor of participating in a couple of Remembrance Day ceremonies at RAF Uxbridge back in the day, Alison. And, as you say... sad, somber, and sincere. November 11th is celebrated much differently in our two countries. That said, our ways may be different but the thanks are sincere.

  6. Sorry that I did not get by yesterday to say my thanks, but you were in my thoughts.

  7. Once again: Thank you all. Serving was most definitely MY pleasure. I'm thankful I had the opportunity to serve in the greatest Air Force the world has ever seen, or likely will see.
