As a cheap-skate who only gets television over the airwaves, I am simply amazed at the programming. I seem to get nothing but Chuck Lorre productions endlessly streamed like B-17's over Berlin. After listening to 10 minutes of endless low-brow and not laughing along with the laugh track of 90 dB volume (between the 30 minutes of commercials), I shut the box until the next insanity of doing the same thing and expecting change.
I'm happy my life isn't soap opera or 'reality' show... ...and the weather's been less than ideal... a little blustery, with a slight edge... but I've seen much worse. We still need rain.
We have been in a maelstrom of sorts as well!
ReplyDeleteIt's Spring!

ReplyDeleteI hear ya. I don't watch sitcoms, ever. Well, not since Seinfeld went off the air.
DeleteA "blowing dust" advisory? I guess I'll stop complaining about not enough Spring around my way.
ReplyDeleteYeah... Spring in NM!

I'll second the reality show/soap opera thing. I had enough drama in Former Happy Days to last me the rest of this life and well into the next.
DeleteIn addition to good writers - I am also looking for better lighting and make-up.
ReplyDeleteHeh. I'm in need of both, as well.
DeleteI'm not much of a fan of weather today. Hope yours improves.
ReplyDeleteI understand why after visiting your place. My best thoughts for your friends, Moogie.
