Interpreting art is difficult enough, but adding animation really changes things, pulling you away from what you yourself imagined, and now must somehow get these images out of your mind (which is impossible of course). Not to say it was not well done though. I enjoyed watching. When I think of these artists, I really am amazed how sophisticated they were 100's of years ago.
ReplyDeleteI was all prepared for a "meh" reaction because it's as you said: we all have our interpretations of timeless art. I watched the animation twice and just may go back for thirds. It WAS very well done.
