Service Worker

An EMERGING service worker, if'n you please.  Like this:

That's where the Beeb sez I fall in their self-defined British class structure, assuming I'm British, which we all know I'm NOT.  I'm just a lil bit hurt, in that I fall below the traditional working class.

H/t to that Brighton Pensioner, who is Established Middle Class.  You can take the quiz here, if'n yer interested.

  1. For you that would be the special category labeled "ex-enlisted swine, " Buck, and for me "dissolute alcoholic n'ear-do-well. failed junior officer" lol.

  3. Another ex-enlisted swine reporting. Even better as I'm a failed officer trainee!

How could you possibly score high on this Buck. We know that deep down inside you're a Frenchman! Vive la France!

    1. I'm thinking that if I'd taken this a few years back when I was in the home-owning game and actually making a buck or three I MIGHT have scored higher. But then again, you have a point: there's my undeniable ethnicity and lack o' social standing. ;-)

I guess because I do own a house.
Weather here is sucky... as in there was a tornado just south of Red Bluff last evening and it is rainy again as I write this.

Oh and ocean going enlisted here.

    1. It's amazing how much home ownership figures into perceived status, ain't it? I'm really tempted to take the quiz again and answer as I was a few years back.

We could use some "rainy" here (always) but NOT the tornadoes, thank-ya-very-much.

Just be polite... that's all I ask.
