Ommmm... Ommmm... (to the left of my slippers, for the reference-impaired... that would be Satya "Midnight"... and a Sammy Adams Octoberfest to the right of those same slippers)
Air Force loses to the Boat School in OT, in Colo Springs, no less. Too bad we don't have a frickin' KICKER. That said, we still have the ND game comin' up this evening, so all is not lost.

Thems looks like some comfy slippers. And Octoberfest... One nice afternoon it seems.
ReplyDeleteHow's the peepers doing? If you've posted about them, I must have missed it, I've been semi- AFK (Away from keyboard) lately.
It was a nice afternoon... I love Fall. Peepers? My eyes are fine... it's my teeth (or the lack o' same) that are giving me grief. But I'm OK.
DeleteIt's a good thing for you I don't have your phone number, Buck, or I would have been on the horn SCREAMING about both the AF and the LSU game, lol..
ReplyDeleteThe AF game gave me the MOST heartburn of everything I watched yesterday. They (AFA) should have won that one.
DeletePPS: And of course , to cap my day off I'm REALLY pissed that on top of everything else, ND won--unfortunately it looks like their the real deal this year. (although I had mixed feelings as I hate Miami too, lol)
ReplyDeleteND IS the Real Deal. I think they have a pretty good chance of running the table; provided they get past Stanford and those Okies down in Norman. We've seen that both of those teams can be had... and by lesser teams than ND, too.
Deletetheir??...>"they're"
ReplyDeleteLooks mighty comfy Buck. Nice way to spend an afternoon!
ReplyDeleteMorning, afternoon, AND night... LOL!
DeleteWe watched a lot of football yesterday - it being rather cool outside for much else. Texas Tech got beat bad. A&M won and Texas got beat - not too bad of a football day.
ReplyDeleteThe Texas game was a near-run thang, and I watched a lil bit o' Texas Tech when LSU went to a break. I was pullin' for those Red Raiders, of course.
DeleteBuck, it is frightening. Seriously. I saw this post earlier, but only just now got around to commenting. Your moccasins and mine are twins (I know we both replaced our ancient faithful ones last year...because I know such junk).
ReplyDeleteAnd, you're watching (in the photo) my beloved LSU Tigers play a sub-par game (just as I did). I did not have a beer in hand, though. They don't make one strong enough for me when LSU is playing poorly. Never one to make excuses about playing with subs, I'll just say, "Catch the damn ball! Hold on to it after you do! And...GIVE YOUR QB ABOUT A HALF SECOND MORE, WOULD YA'???" All that said, I was really looking for two losses this season. I figured a loss to 'Bama, and perhaps an upset by MS State, or The RazorHawgz.
Flarda was NOT on my radar... Gonna be interesting.
In better news, congrats on The Dame! WOW! What a murdalation!!!! I had my doubts that ND could handle OU, or Stanford. But now...not so much. It is going to be VERY interesting.
I thought about ya... a LOT... while watching your Tiggers. Mostly on the order o' "Ooooh, I bet Andy is NOT pleased with this!"
DeleteI think the long pole in ND's tent will be found in Norman. OU can be tough, especially at home. Which is not to say Stanford will be a cake-walk... far from it. That rivalry goes back a looong ways.
