Saturday. For the Cars, Mr. Bond, For the CARS.

Mainly coz I don't give a big rat's ass about what comes outta Hollywood or its British equivalent.  But the automobiles?  THAT'S a different story...


I'll have one o' each, please.  You can skip the Sunbeam unless it's a Tiger.

    If I remember right, the Ford 260 has the same external dimensions as a 302. And a 351W is the same except for a taller deck height. Which means... a stroker of about 408 cubic inches would probably fit in the Tiger without too much hassle. (Might need a hood scoop, heehee).

    I'd probably hit a tree at about 180mph but I'd die smiling!

      I'd be embarrassed to die in a FORD. Wait. I said I wasn't gonna bad-mouth Furds anymore since the RV started up without a hitch last year... after sitting cold for more than a few years. But I think I'm off the hook, coz the damned thing refuses to start NOW.

    Try being a teenager and trying to get Ins for a Tiger, Buck. LOL! Mark Danzinger ("Armed Liberal") who ran Winds of Change & who now guest blogs/is an assoc at Black Five told me he tried to get one as a young guy out of college (but under 25) and his ins agent just laughed at him, lol

      I wanted one about the time they came out, and The Ol' Man was gonna help me get one... until the insurance thing came up (I was on his policy). We settled for a TR-3 instead.
