View from the ISS at Night from Knate Myers on Vimeo.
How VERY cool. The nighttime and northern lights bits are especially spectacular. From the Vimeo site:
Every frame in this video is a photograph taken from the International Space Station. All credit goes to the crews on board the ISS.Isn't it GREAT to be alive in this day and age?
I removed noise and edited some shots in photoshop. Compiled and arranged in Sony Vegas.
Technology. Wow. Being human is becoming more and more spectacular all the time.

DeleteIt is great to be alive in this day and age. And yet, my video is taking forever to load and run.
ReplyDeleteIt's worth the wait, Lou.
DeleteThat really is awesome, in every sense of the word. Totally puts things into perspective.
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty damn amazing to be alive now, I'll give you that. Half of what I encounter every day is magic, or at least appears that way to someone as uneducated in the technical arts as I am. So many of the things we have now, in our daily lives, were not only unthinkable by any sane person in, say, 1930, they were also unthinkable by the INsane, which is saying something. Hell, for some of the stuff, make it 1980.
