Buck and Kris, I'm with you. We got Dish network for some reason a while ago. Their movies run for at least 3 hours; more commercial time than movie time. If I'm going to "buy" the movies on Dish to avoid the commercials...I might as well buy Netflix...or a Kindle/Nook.
According to Wiki, Jersey Shore premiered Dec. 2009. I guess a season is not a year. I only looked, because I knew it had not been six years. Anyway, I've never seen it and probably will never see it.
The Jersey Shore, isn't that just down the coast from the Pauly Shore.
ReplyDeleteGreat cartoon. My sentiments exactly since I've never seen it and don't plan to.
In re: Pauly. Heh. I just don't get "Jersey Shore," not from what I've read and seen by association.
DeleteDitto on the cartoon and your statements Buck. Damn that writer's strike all those years ago, it gave us reality TV.
ReplyDeleteFor which the cable company will lose us as subscribers in the very near future. 300 channels of nothing.
300 channels of nothing is MY story, too. Except for hockey. ;-)

ReplyDeleteI have Dish, too... and it's a LOT better than cable!

ReplyDeleteI stand corrected. Us geezers are still laboring under the assumption that one season equals one year.
DeleteEven three years is amazing for such a ridiculous show.
DeleteEgad. And now I hear they're reproducing.
