Canada Day

Happy 144th birthday, Canada!  Thanks for all the hockey.  And Labatt's, too.

  1. I could use a Labatt's or Molson Canadian Beer right now...

Nothing like seeing blue skies in Canada! Happy Cananda Day, indeed.

  4. Yeap. It's that KIND of day here too. Warm, pool's open, so I go off to have an adult beverage while floating in the pool.

  5. Molson Canadian or a Lethbridge Pilsener.......
And when I was sixteen and living in Southern Alberta, I tried to sneak into Medicine Hat and join the South Alberta Light Horse Regiment. Ya could do that up North that forty years ago. The age of enlistment was sixteen in the reserve component. Mom had a major hissy and we came back to the States. The rest, they say, is history.
    Vive' le Canadien!!!!

Blogger is fun with that, innit? Sometimes I REALLY wonder about those things.

Glenn: I can't imagine WHY your Mom freaked out. Heh. My Mom had a tizzy when I came home and told her I'd enlisted... I guess that's their thang.
