Beautiful Buck - both the tree and the pictures taken of it. And I agree - it makes you more manly for your appreciation of the beauty in the world around you.
Our cherry blossom season in Vancouver is now over (or very close to being over) but it still warms the cockles of my heart to see beautiful pictures as these! Gorgeous!
and ... if you taking pictures of beauty in bloom makes you all girly then I guess the fact that I love taking pictures of vintage cars makes me all butch... LOL
Really stunning pics. It's actually not that easy to get a great shot of blossom in direct sunlight as they usually wind up overexposed. You've outdone yourself here Buck. These are award winners!
Hey, I think they look great, and I wish to hell I had something that good to look at. Rain, rain, freakin' rain. The only thing growing around here is mold.
Dang. All y'all are so VERY kind! I shoulda put a smiley-face at the end of my manhood statement, as my tongue was firmly in my cheek about "smart-ass comments." But thank you all very much for your kind words.
Beautiful photos. Can I steal them?My pics look like my thumb got in the lens. I got one of those here at The Poletax Compound. We call it a Sand Cherry. Ya can smell it from 15-25 yards out. Dem bugs sure love it.
Hey poletax... thanks for the kind words. Feel free to take what you want. All I ask is for credit if you use the pics on a blog or the like. Thanks again.
So lovely! And, IMHO, it takes a truly manly-man to appreciate legitimate, natural beauty.
ReplyDeleteJust like being at the Cherry Blossom Festival in D.C.!! Only much better! Thanks for the gorgeous pictures. And it's all sunshiny, too. (Sigh.)
ReplyDeleteDad... reminds me of the Cherry Blossom festival in Yokosuka, Japan. Great times in Japan; I know you had yours as well.
ReplyDeleteMoogie beat me to it! It does take a "man in full" to be able to appreciate both the strong, and the delicate.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, Buck! We've got purple iris blooming, and the wisteria is casting it's gorgeous blueish spell on the bumble bees. Ain't life grand?
Oh crap! WV: laxotiv (nyuk)

ReplyDeleteAs long as you don't start going on about how the colors match the decor in your loo, we won't worry about you, Buck.

ReplyDeleteClick away Buck.
Click away.
But I think WV is mocking us both with: inififie
Hope they still look like that in a week!
ReplyDeleteSee you then!

ReplyDeleteDamn I was going to ask where did you misplace your manhood, but I guess I won't HAHA
ReplyDeleteThe pink blossoms are beautiful. I love pink and men who wear pink.
