Today's Happy Hour...

...coincides with the receipt of my periodic re-supply shipment from Cigar.com.  This week we purchased an Acid Sampler... being as how we're BIG fans of Drew Estate's creations.

And no... that is not a spliff in the first photo, no matter what it looks like or what you might think.  It's an Acid Nasty by name and an Acid Marvelous by taste.  The above photo shows the cigar as it comes from the manufacturer.

Here's an excerpt from a review I googled:
The Nasty definitely doesn’t live up to its name, there is no nastiness here; just a pleasant, earthy flavor, somewhat primitive but not too harsh. I enjoyed the shape of this stick, the “rough” construction made me feel more connected to the tobacco and I could imagine sitting on the verandah of a plantation in the Dominican enjoying one of these and watching the sun go down. Very pleasant indeed.
Yup.  What he said.

Here it is, lit and being consumed.  The only thing that could make the moment better would be taking our pleasure on the verandah, as our reviewer noted.  But he had an entirely different sort of verandah in mind.
