Just One Reason Why...

... McNeil-Lehrer cum Newshour with Jim Lehrer cum PBS Newshour has been a nightly habit with me for some 25+ years now.  From tonight's Newshour:



Now I would have eventually figured this out, seeing as how I also subscribe to NatGeo.  But the PBS segment above gives a little bit of insight into the contents of the NatGeo archives and the process of digitizing those archives.  As those MasterCard ads say: priceless.

    Sure am glad my keyboard has that mute key, since NG decided to put a cruddy ad in front of the show.
    I enjoyed the much too short glimpses of some of the photos in their impossibly huge repertoire, and thanks for sharing this.
