Ain't technology grand? We had a German Googler drop by and s/he went to the trouble of translating us into Deutsch... so I did a screen-cap of the result (click for larger):
Dontcha hate it when I'm stuck inside?
If a lifetime can be likened to a day, then this is Happy Hour!
Heh. Must be an early happy hour, nein?
ReplyDeleteWell... now that ya mention it... How didja guess, Moogie? ;-)
ReplyDeleteGo play EVERY game on Sporcle and then maybe some online poker with people in Outer Mongolia or something!! Don't drink all the beer today!
ReplyDeleteHeineken?
ReplyDeleteI'm sure that the German Goobler was extremely happy to know that it's snowing in NM.
Heh! I wonder if she/he snagged your license plate number from the photo for future reference.
Kath: Games don't do it for me, unless it involves gettin' nekkid. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI'm sufficiently amused with beer and cigars at the moment, however.
Andy: Heineken? Oh, noes! We likes our beer dark and malty or with lotsa yeast, as in weis biers. We're working on the last of the Full Moons at the moment and will move to weis bier when those are gone...
I think it might be time for a road trip.
ReplyDeleteMy "local on the eights" informed me a couple of hours ago that we're under a tornado watch. I'm not a bit fond of wind (hot or cold) & we're getting a ton of rain to go with the high winds. Probably won't be a very restful night... :^(
ReplyDeleteYou need a mink coat.
ReplyDeleteMine withstands the coldest happy hours!
Lou: Problem is I'm stuck close to home until the latest Adventures In Modern Dentistry are complete...
ReplyDeleteKaty: Your WX is bizarre for this time o' year. Stay safe!
Daphne: With all due respect... I ain't that kinda guy. ;-)
"... dann ist Happy Hour!" just seems so damned joyous in German. I can almost picture you in leiderhozen with a plate of bratwurst and a huge stein of some pilsner.
ReplyDeleteI can almost picture you in leiderhozen with a plate of bratwurst and a huge stein of some pilsner.
ReplyDeleteWell, me too. Except for the liederhosen... :-)
