Broadening Our Horizons X

Decisions, decisions.  We may still be drinking our morning coffee but it ain't too early to begin thinking about Happy Hour.  As a matter of fact... we may just forego the last cup and move directly to the finer part of our day.  But which of the below should we put a match to?

The Maduro?  The Cameroon?  The America?  Heh.  This is the sort of dilemma I like!

  1. Had more that a couple of fine Ceegars this weekend and a few Sam Adams Winter Largers...all outside in the Indian Summer sunshine, in celebration of Ohio State's 6th straight over UM....

    Will RR survive? {I say yes for at least another year}

    Will The Fat Man{Sorry Charlie} survive at Notre Dame? {I don't think so, but he'll have a "fat" contract and an NFL job waiting on him}

  2. I'm just about to pop outside and fire one up, Pat, to be accompanied by a Fat Tire or two.

    I think Rodriguez will survive, and Weis might, as well. There's Big Money at stake where Weis is concerned. But as I said below, football is second only to Jesus at ND... so all bets are off.

  3. It is a beautiful day in OK. The block guys are working today - Yeha! I should get a beer and my lawn chair and go watch them - is that cruel?

  4. Not at all, Lou. You Da Boss... ain'tcha? ;-)

    It's a beautiful day here, as well. I'm just in for a refill... and now it's back outside!

  5. I'd pick the cigar that is 5th from the right...if for no other reason than the colorful label makes it stand out.

    And the Fat Tire is complimenatary to everything!

    Cheers!

  6. I fired up the Maduro, BR. And a fine smoke it was. Box pressed, well constructed, and VERY flavorful. A couple Fat Tires went down well with this ceegar!

  8. Buck, I have a friend I'd like to buy a really nice cigar for. I know nothing of cigars, nor do I know if he has a preference. Can you help with a suggestion?

  9. Rub it in! It's OK, just rub it in and get it over with............

  11. Jimmy: Mr. Horton's coffee is unobtanium down this way, unless it's available on the 'net. But I used to whip into his diners occasionally when I lived Up Nawth.

    Alison: Check your mail.

    Glenn: We're right damned good at rubbing it in, yanno?

    Kath: The cigars are all six inches long and have a ring gauge varying between 48 - 52, which is quite a normal size unless you're into Churchills... which run to just a lil over seven inches long but are typically thinner in ring gauge.

  12. (I thought so. The ex smokes those 7 x 48 Churchills, buys them in boxes of 25. Part of why he's an ex.)

  13. Because of the cigars themselves, or the expense? Enquiring Minds(TM) wanna know...

  15. Don't forget the beer in the other hand.

    Or, excuse me, the alcoholic beverage simply meant to enhance the enjoyment of your day. :)

    Which is fine, as long as you don't mind the credit card and the expensive jewelry in my hand -- which, of course is simply meant to enhance the enjoyment of MY day!! :) :)

    Yes, I'm laughing. And no minus points for anybody. My heart belongs to an Army hunk now. Happy, happy day!!

Just be polite... that's all I ask.
