Via blog-bud Phlegmmy... the inimitable Bettie Page died yesterday. The vid is work-safe, unless your workplace has something against beautiful women in lingerie.
Bettie fueled the fantasies of many a man (and boys, too, one of which I cheerfully admit being) in the way-back. She also created a specific genre of erotica (OK... soft-core porn) that lives to this day.

That was fascinating and ridiculous. Those heels, those hose, that pointedie little bra, and panties that come up to your waist - gosh I'm glad that times have changed. I came in on the tail end of wearing hose and garter belts. They may have been sexy, but what a pain in the butt - literally sometimes. And yet, so very sexy!

Interesting comment on the hose & garter belt thing. I never knew a woman who wore real hose, except for my Mom. Well, I should clarify that... I meant day-to-day wear. I've known several women who had garter belts for... ummm... recreational purposes. You're right, the things are VERY sexy. I still have a soft spot in my heart for 'em. But sadly... no recent experience.
