... even though I don't agree with the overall thrust of this piece. And there's one f-bomb. But don't let that put you off, Gentle Reader. As I said in the title: it IS funny. Sarah and John... on the phone.

Heh ... you're right, Buck, that IS funny! And, I suspect, maybe even a little bit true. ; )
ReplyDeleteHere's the best thing I've read today about Sarah:
"The irony here is that Palin's extreme values are so unrealistic that her own family can not live up to them." - a comment by jwoode in response to an article on SF Gate.
Hah! GREAT stuff!
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised at you, m'friend, after the...eh...well, let's call it passion you showed around my parts earlier today (where nobody goes anyhow, as you know), that you thought this was fitting for an embed. But I'm glad you did.
As to whether it went like this, I don't care if Cindy got him in a full nelson in one of those thirty houses of his and bit his ear until tears were streaming down his face, or if he formed his campaign specifically to one day get Sarah on board. Couldn't care less which one of those it was, or anywhere in between. I'm just happy she's on board.
Like millions of other knuckle-draggers, I'm struggling to figure out how to revive and recover my coveted credentials as a sexist pig after all the nice things I have to say about her. The Maverick making this phone call, was probably the best political decision made, EVER, since leaving the part in the speech about "Mr. Gorbachev, Tear Down This Wall."
Not unrealistic, Lori... just difficult... raging hormones be damned. ;-)
ReplyDeleteMorgan: Well, I try to keep my sense of humor intact. It's hard sometimes... like when that twit Jon Stewart goes off on one of his rants. I don't find HIM funny at all... 90% of the time. But this clip made me laugh. Go figure...
As for your rep? I think you'll be OK. (smirk) (grin) (and all that)
