Thanks, Jim... it looks to be pretty good. The beginning, anyway!
Jenny: Why, yes... it is! One level teaspoon in each cup o' coffee, which was still in progress (i.e., a couple of cups left) when I took these pics.
Christina sez: Enjoy your ceegars, Sir!
Most defnitely, Christina!
Deborah sez: Oh ... a cigar box!
I save 'em, too. Dunno exactly why, except for perhaps the left-over kid in me. My Dad smoked Dutch Masters, among other things, and my room was littered with his old boxes. They're such a great place to keep your treasures in... which is something not many kids will ever experience in this day and age. Pity, that.
It's the cigar box that intrigues me. I loved them as a kid - what is it with boxes and kids? Toby has a wooden cigar box that belonged to his dad with his initials on a gold plate. Very swank.
When I was a teen and I lived with my father, I had a cigar box full of foreign money. Daddy was a mechanic for Delta and he always got to get on the planes before cabin service did their cleaning. He found all sorts of treasures and brought them home: books, music tapes, and always money from other countries which he gave to me (he mainly worked on the L-1011 that I guess always went international). He also raided the galley and it was always a treat to pour Carnation half and half on our cereal in the mornings that he brought home the night before. After that, whole milk just seemed watered down. LOL!
Ya, they are! Happy Hour was canceled yesterday due to rain, but we did put fire to one today before LSU - Auburn kicked off.

That's just pretty cool, Jenny. I had a pretty big collection of foreign coins as a child, too. And I still eat a mixture of half and half and milk on my cereal, LOL!
Mushy: Yep... like Phlegmmy sez... "The Brown Truck of Happiness!"
Sharon: Partagas' Spanish Rosados are the House Brand at El Casa Móvil De Pennington. I'll play around with other brands and sizes, but there are always a few SRs in the humidor.
Dang. I'm just not paying attention at the moment.
Lou... is that cigar box with the gold plate a humidor? There are some pretty pricey ones out there...
Amy sez: Aaaah, those UPS drivers. I seem to be talking about them a lot lately.
LOL! I hear ya. I really, really do. But not in quite the same space where my driver is concerned! She's a great lady and I love her to death, in that platonic sorta way. ;-)
Enjoy, Buck. And have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteIs that rich, chocolaty Olvatine on the counter? LOL! Not for happy hour I hope.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!
I'd have the same reaction if the package contained many long-awaited books...ahhhhh. Now THAT'S my idea of happy hour(s).

ReplyDeleteWhat can Brown do for you? ;)
I hate that anxious wait! But love to hear the dog bark and hear the big brown truck pull up!
ReplyDeleteOoooh, Partagas - Good choice!!
ReplyDeletePhil sez: Tasty!

ReplyDeleteI like a man with good taste in cigars!
