Do Yourself a Flavor...

... and watch this vid on "the the importance of proofreading:"

Dang. This guy has been reading my drafts... or some of the blogs I stumble upon. Or both.

  2. The part about spell check not catching everything is so true. L was typing a cookbook of recipes from our church. I am not a typist. Well the d is next to the s, I typed ass instead of add many times " ass milk" Who keeps that on hand????

  3. Nah... not at all, Lou.

Diva: I've seen some pretty funny bloopers in corporate e-mail, whereby the sender ran his/her note through spell-check and sent the note out. There were NO spelling errors, true, but stuff like your ass-milk example made it through. Most of that stuff was just funny, and was rarely "fatal."

  4. I enjoyed the video.....very funny.

My version of Firefox underlines misspelled words but it's dictionary is apparently got misspelled words in it or it does not recognize the English dictionary because it tells me things that are wrong when I have gone to a dictionary to check it....I hate having a program make me second guess myself. I will not even get started with spell checkers for word processors, they can make the best of us look like morons.....and well the rest of us.....well I guess they stay that way.

  6. That was pretty funny! That's how Shaun's emails read normally. He's always in such a hurry that all his emails take a very patient person to decipher them.
I think maybe if you take out every other letter, one can figure out what he's trying to say (on account of his fingers being so massive:)

  7. That's Taylor Mali, and he has done some really good pieces. Check out the name on YouTube and look at "what teachers make" and a Def Poetry Slam bit on speaking that impresses. Over at my place I've got the links if you don't want to hit 'search'.

Just be polite... that's all I ask.
