As my title sez: Sounds like fun, eh? Glad I’m all stocked up and have no earthly reason to venture out anywhere. You sure as Hades wouldn’t know this was coming just by looking out the window were you me, Gentle Reader. It's bright and sunny outside at the moment, albeit a bit on the chilly side.
OTOH, this could very well be weatherman-hyperbole. We all know how that goes, eh? I’ll keep you informed.
You sure you don't live in New England???
ReplyDeleteGlad you got that moto ride in, Buck!
ReplyDeleteIn Santa Rosa, it's 57 degrees at 5:55 pm ... and promises to be lovely all weekend, too!

ReplyDeleteHere in OK we are in for some nasty weather too. Stay warm Buck. The deleted comment is mine. Typo.
ReplyDeleteRed gave us the heads up, too. I am looking forward to snow! That means colder temps! We're pretty much stranded until this mud and run-off freezes up again. Beer is running low. Oh ... and generator gas might join it on the endangered species list. C'mon freeze!
ReplyDeleteAh the February of our lives – one of the things that made me crazy in NM. Feb. would start having these really great days, and then BAM it would turn really cold and snow. The good news was that it helped the ski areas immensely because they quit making snow in the spring and needed these Feb and March snows to get to the end of the season. But for me, who was already tired of snow, Feb. was the doldrums. It made me feel like my life was on hold due to the cold. I don’t know why I didn’t feel that way about March – maybe because the spring snows were not so cold and made for great skiing. Here in OK it is August that makes me crazy when I am so tired of the heat.
ReplyDeleteAlthough January is on record/stats the coldest month...February is usually the worse. Probably because we are looking forward to the approach of spring, and because we get as much Ice as Snow....I'll take Snow(although not too much) anyday.
ReplyDeleteWe have more on the way for tomorrow night and Monday.
Where's our frickin' snow!!?? By golly, if they put out a warning as dire as this one, I better see at least an inch. Instead, not even a flake!! I could have used a snow day today (we had a BB game in town at 8am, practice this afternoon for another team, then cheer a game tonight)
ReplyDeleteKris sez: You sure you don't live in New England???
ReplyDeleteReasonably sure. There's no ocean within 1,000 miles of me. I think. ;-)
Ah, Lori. Just HAD to rub it in now, dintya?
Ashley: All y'all's weather looks to be worse than ours. My condolences...
Lin sez: Beer is running low. Oh ... and generator gas might join it on the endangered species list. C'mon freeze!
Aiiieee! Low on beer? Omigawd. I'll pray for ya... ;-)
Lou sez: But for me, who was already tired of snow, Feb. was the doldrums.
That was me for 15 years or so in Detroit and Rochester. And I'm you, now, too... where August is concerned. Or perhaps September, which is still hotter than Hades in these parts...
Pat sez: February is usually the worse. Probably because we are looking forward to the approach of spring
Once again: agreed!
Jenny sez: Where's our frickin' snow!!??
ReplyDeleteLOL! "Weatherman-hyperbole," I think I said... I did enjoy the thunder-boomers last night, tho. Strange and interesting, that was. From my window this morning it looks like a real mess outside. Better than ice, tho...
