There's a great deal of it going down in and around the milblogging community supporting VALOUR-IT. Not the least of which is here...
But when it comes to Snark, all y'all should know we...that would be the USAF...invented it. And here's a pic:The world's first inter-continental missile. Not to be confused with inter-continental ballistic missiles...which are completely different animals. And while the Snark wasn't terribly effective, accurate, or long-lived...it was first.

LOL, SJS...that's a good one! (Your link, that is... I didn't see it at the bottom of the Wiki page at first.)

Buck: Growing up in Venice, Florida, in the 50s and 60s...there was a missle that was in the development stages....now that's been almost 50 years ago...but the Snark sure looks like the ones they tested along the Gulf Coast from the old Venice Army Air Base....either that or I'm delusional(which is a good bet).
ReplyDeleteDamn Buck, the internet is great....on my 3rd Becks Dark, and I find this story on the Regulus KD@U-1 Drone flying out of Venice to Elgin...I'll send the link.
