...it always comes back to haunt you. If you scroll down to one of my hockey posts you'll find I said "only a fool would bet against Brodeur." That was a foolish thing to say. New Jersey lost tonight and are down 3-0 against Carolina. Yep, Carolina really is that good, especially on defense.
142 teams in NHL history have fallen behind 3-0 in a seven-game series. Two have come back to win. History says Carolina will take this series. I'd say history is right. And I was wrong.
