I'm having a very bad day; motivation to do anything beyond fighting for my next breath is seriously lacking. But I'm still here.

If a lifetime can be likened to a day, then this is Happy Hour!
You're not alone, bud. We're all with you.
ReplyDeleteJesus, Buck. I thought you were seeing your Doc this week. Don't hesitate to call EMS and get to the hospital if it gets too bad!
ReplyDeleteBuck/ Just talked to my wife the RN She said it sounds like congestive heart failure and that you should be in the hospital! Call & go now!!
DeleteVirgil, great catch by you and your wife. Hopefully, you may have saved Buck's life.
DeleteAnyone here who reads this and has Bucks phone number, please give him a call and tell him to get to the hospital!
ReplyDeleteNoted, Virgil, and thanks. I'm on my way to the ER as we speak.
DeleteHang in there Buck.
ReplyDeleteThe best thing they can do maybe is put you in a pressure chamber (Hyperbaric) and let your lungs and heart recover. I wouldn't let them give you any drugs at this stage.
ReplyDeleteI used to go to the altitude chamber (Hypo-baric) every three years on flying duty, and I found it fixed my intestines as they blew up to 10 times their normal size and got all the kinks out.
But that was less pressure, you need more. New Mexico may be too high an altitude for you, and you need to move to the coast.
Sounds like smart advice to me! Hang in there, Buck!
