Interpreting Joe, is what I mean by "done before," as I seem to remember another effort in this space. The Usual Source sez this is an old video, so mebbe it's the same one I'm thinkin' about.
Apropos o' nuttin' much... I was in Beautiful Wakkanai By The Sea when Woodstock happened and the Stars and Stripes ran a front page picture of the traffic jam the next day. "The New York state thruway's CLOSED, Man!"
Oh liver!
ReplyDeleteI like the stuff, IF it's prepared well.
DeleteOh liver was in the song by the way :-)
DeleteSadly, I don't find it fresh often (wrong shopping days I guess) so I buy it frozen. My mothers secret was to buy beef liver and soak it in whole milk in the fridge for several hours. This makes it taste as good as the more expensive calves liver. My recipe is not very sophisticated, but I like my liver done, then with some Worcestershire sauce to clean the pan, pour that over the meat. Mmmph, Mmmph
The milk trick sounds good. I've always bought calves liver; mebbe I'll give the beef a shot.
DeleteI am not an organ kinda gal.
ReplyDeleteYou probably need to swing by chez Pennington, and cook him a nice heap of meat!
Delete@Moogie: Liver is the only organ meat I'll eat.
Delete@Girls: Thanks for lookin' out for me, but Moogie is a happily married woman.
