    Great! People Power! American culture (such as it is) would seem to trans-send all. Maybe there is hope yet, but I doubt it. It seems the cultural "thaw" is unfortunately rapidly re-freezing in Russia. Lets enjoy it while we can..

    PS: 2-2 at intermission. GO HAWKS! Just start of 2nd period. Hawks have put heavy pressure on with lots of shots on goal, but can't capitalize. .....Wings doing better now..

    CRAP AGAIN! After MINUTES & MINUTES of heavy HAWKS pressure Wings LUCK into goal in one of FEW times they've had their stick on the puck in last five min! :) ....Hawks playing sloppy loose & careless now on defense even as they pressure on offense..

    Hawks can't buy a goal despite plenty of good attempts....now Wings out-playing Hawks at Hawks end...Hawks seem a "step behind" (as it were) uh OH Hawks called for slashing on mele in front of net...not good...YIKES--Det shot goes off pipe! Hawks look bad...listless, uncertain on defense..

      Well... here we are... second intermission. I've obviously been watching the game and I didn't have high expectations going in. That said, we're playing our asses off and I think we could possibly win this. The kids from GR are playin' their collective hearts out and that's a GOOD Thing.
