Not much goin' on around El Casa Inmóvil De Pennington today. We received our new Kindle yesterday and haven't done an awful lot with it, other than set it up, check mail, and read a few pages in our current book.
First impressions: the device is VERY light (yet feels substantial in the hand) and a lot more comfortable to read with than my old Kindle, which is bulky and heavy by comparison. The display on the HDX appears to meet all the hype surrounding it: it's bright, crystal clear, and the colors are magnificent. We'll need to check out the camera and all the other features at some point in the future but we're pretty happy with the thing for now.
