BAU



"Truer words," and all that.  Most of this "shutdown" has the look and feel of a particularly inept PR campaign gone very wrong.

  2. I often wonder why the criminally insane choose grade schools over such a target rich environment...

    They say that only 50% of Americans vote, and of that 50% most are near retirement age. Thus all the pork goes to them, and charged to the second class. They even sacrificed the middle class to borrow from China.

    I say let's default. We won't owe China anything afterwards, and seniors won't care if they lose their .3% interest on bonds... We'll be rich!

    1. I don't think default would be such a good idea. OTOH, if we DO default and no one will lend us any money, well then... gub'mint might have to live within its means.
