Zounds!

So... have all y'all heard about this?

We're speakin' about Amazon's Cloud Player, about which: details hereI've already downloaded three albums on to my phone/MP3 player, as we speak.  So I may not have rings on my fingers (I have one ring, singular) and bells on my toes, but I'll sure have music wherever I go... wi-fi and/or a fast connection for Pandora or not.

I swore I'd be damned before I got into MP3s and that I would NEVER buy an MP3 player.  The latter is somewhat true, but my Android phone does double duty in that space.  I just need to figger out how much storage space I have for music but I suspect it's more than I'll ever use.

So here I am... arriving in the 21st century, at last.

  1. I've been on Amazon's cloud player for a long time. Love it.

    1. It's the download thing I like, but the ability to play anything in the cloud is just pretty danged cool. SOME of us are later than most, though... getting back to your comment.

  2. The grandkids gave us a nice little mp3 player for Christmas (Joyce already has an iPod), but all we have on it so far are some albums I loaded from my music stash (from CDs) on the computer. We got nothing on the Cloud that I know about, so some of us are even later than you.

    1. You may have music in the cloud if you've bought CDs from Amazon. Not all music qualifies, but a good number of artists DO.

  3. I'm not on the cloud; just can't bring myself to do it. Maybe someday...

    1. "Free" is a powerful attraction, in my case. Plus it appears that Amazon goes way, way back for the music I've purchased and can now download to my phone... some bein' at LEAST ten years old.

    3. @Virgil: What? You don't have an MP3 player? I'm shocked... shocked, I tell you! ;-)

Just be polite... that's all I ask.
