Everybody Talks About the WX...

... so why should I be different?

It's NOT a nice day outdoors, so we shall remain in the Great Indoors today.  Note our winds, the result of which is INCREDIBLE dust, making the sky an ugly dun color.  But at least we don't have three feet of snow, like some people we know.

The view from my study window:

See?  Uggg-leee.

  1. The dust does look bad, but the rear section of that Caddy looks pretty dang beautiful.

  2. We had temps in the mid-forties here yesterday and a bit damp. Not so bad. Dust is never good. Maybe you should move from the peanut farms.

  3. That dust is bad for the respiratory health; glad you spent your day indoors Buck.

We are still digging out; plow service finally came this morning and my panic attacks have subsided. Never thought I'd be THAT person; totally panicked because I couldn't leave the house. Learn something new about yourself every day I guess. We continue to shovel walkways and the roof. Because we are just that lucky that we are getting lots of rain tomorrow.

    1. Well, at least you have power. I read that 650,000 people are shivering in the dark up your way.

  4. Boy I sure hope that car-port is stronger than it looks. With all the constant heavy-duty winds/gusts you get on the high plains I'd think it would be awfully, awfully easy for the winds to get under what is, really, just a giant airfoil and cause "lift-off." lol

    1. I think the carport is alright. I watched it get built and that's some pretty heavy-duty construction. I might worry if I was in California, but people around here know what our WX is like and build accordingly.

Just be polite... that's all I ask.
