Truly Epic...

Details here.  The long and the short of it is this is supposedly a single image of earth... not a composite... taken by a Russian weather satellite.  At a resolution of 121 megapixels!

    One thing that struck me is that you don't see any lights. I would think places like NYC , LA, Chicago would be visible.

      problem is, you wouldn't be able to see any of THOSE cities on this video, as they're on the other side of the planet...

      I'm guessing the exposure time for each picture isn't long enough to capture the nighttime city lights
