My Part o' the Country

TimeScapes: Rapture from Tom Lowe @ Timescapes on Vimeo.

h/t: SN1 on G+.

Update, 1030 hrs:  OK... just one more and then we'll go.  This time it's the best use of Pink Floyd in a video I've ever seen:

Timescapes Timelapse: Learning to Fly from Tom Lowe @ Timescapes on Vimeo.

"Learning to Fly" just might be my favorite Floyd tune and these images are just perfect.  Watch in full-screen if ya can.

  1. At work so I can only play the video, can't get the sound. So I don't know what might have been playing in the video for sound.

It can't match what was being played from my iPod docking station - the song Finally Home by MercyMe. (Sorry, since I'm at work I can't link to anything on YouTube). It is a Christian rock group and this song is less about religion and more about finding the one place where you feel at peace.

The lyrics were perfect to this amazing video.

Wow - such beautiful imagery; it did bring a tear to my eyes for sure. Such beauty. And such a gift this man has.

  5. Gorgeous! How does he do it?

I haven't spend any time on Vimeo, but I will be checking out Tom Lowe.

Thankfully, I get audio and access to YouTube at my work computer. :-)
Now I will check out Kris's song Finally Home.

TGIF and thanks for sharing this beauty.
