Sometime tonight (mebbe) or tomorrow (more likely) EIP will have its 200,000th visitor (the number you see above is as of 1820 hrs MDT). That ain't much for those bloggers who get that much traffic in a matter of weeks, or days... in the case of the Big Dogs. But I think it's kinda cool. We ARE easily amused, yanno?
Was it you? My SiteMeter is open, so you can sneak a peek any ol' time ya like. Aside from the fact Enquiring Minds™ wanna know... there may be a prize. Yeah, right.
Update, 07/07/2011 0005 hrs: 200,000:
And he or she never even knew. That link is from Blog-Bud Alison's place.
Not me. I never win anything. I was 199,965.
ReplyDeleteDang it! That was gonna be my question, "Is there a prize?". You beat me to the question & the answer. :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm w/Andy, I never win anything, either...
Shucks...I was hoping there might be a case of beer to sweeten the deal.
ReplyDeleteBut... but... I didn't say there wouldn't be a prize now, did I? How do all y'all feel about flamingos? Heh.
ReplyDeleteOnly 11 to go, as of 2100 hrs!
Only 4 to go. If I hit 200,000 will you give me your old camera?
ReplyDeleteDude I think I just did it. Give Andy your camera.
ReplyDeleteWhat's funny is that, if I remember correctly, you were my 2,000th visitor.
Oops, not me. Like I said, I never win anything.
ReplyDeleteGive me your old camera anyway...
ReplyDeleteSeattle Andy...Thanks for the back-up on this deal. I knowed I could count on somebody, and I NEED that camera!!!!
L-Andy: The camera is spoken for. Sorry, man.
ReplyDeleteS-Andy: You were close!
Crud...
ReplyDelete200,049 - that was me. Way late to the party.
ReplyDeleteCongrats Buck - it is a cool milestone.
I just think it's way cool you got a visitor from Chilliwack. That's one of my favorite names of a town or city. Sounds like someone giving you a smack in the face with an icicle.
ReplyDeleteKris: Thank ya, Ma'am.
ReplyDeleteJim: I always thought the name wacky. Badda-da-BOOMP. ;-)
Drove through, or past, Chilliwack last weekend. Driving between Seattle and, well, just about anything North is absolutely beautiful
ReplyDeleteYou DO live in a beautiful part o' the world, Andy. I spent a week in BC a few years back and was seriously impressed.
ReplyDeleteI was in Kelowna Thursday thru Monday (came back home for the 4th). A house on the shores of Lake Okanogan. Wonderful. And the 7-8 hour drive was nothing short of spectacular, even with the kids. They were insanely well-behaved for a trip that long, so I figure the universe has some punishment lined up for me somewhere, to make up for that favor it id me.
ReplyDeleteOTOH, mebbe the universe was repaying you for some good deed. Eight hours in a car with young kids... aiiieee. I remember THAT only too well. You were blessed, indeed.
ReplyDeleteWell, shoot. I missed yet another opportunity to win a crown!
ReplyDeleteCongrats!! That's quite an accomplishment!
It is not how much traffic you get, but the quality of that traffic. You win the prize on "interesting" visitors!
ReplyDeleteCongrats!! That's quite an accomplishment!
ReplyDeleteNot really, Moogie... but your heart is in the right place!
Lou: We DO get some "interesting" folks in these parts. Like L-Andy. ;-)
Oh, now I see how you are...
ReplyDeletePick on the redneck.
Nyuk.
