The Sailors Are Happy In Portales

Assuming there are sailors in P-Ville, of course.  It's that ol' "red skies at night" thingie:

I would have put this up earlier but we were distracted by a phone call.  Priorities, yanno?

  4. KC: Jeez, girl. Ya need a Valium? It's only a bunch of high school kids playing hockey; you can't be THAT starved for good stuff, can ya? And what's this "again" shit? Remember last year?

Andy: We got our water back in the early afternoon of New years Day, so we've been good to go for a while now.

Lou: I was surprised when I dropped by and saw the comment never made it. I thought it did!

  5. I watched the video in the previous post, but had trouble with the comments. So I'm commenting here: 7 Billion people is a lot. I'm glad they don't live in OK. I'm overwhelmed by people just going to the Duncan Wal-Mart.

vw: pessit - similar to pissed, which describes my trips to Wal-Mart.

  6. Good grief, Buck! It's like wacko central here tonight.

On the topic at hand, this sailor would be happy at that sight, if for no other reason than it would have meant good beer and excellent company. Hope the pipes stay thawed.

  7. Lou: We're of the same mind, re: crowds. I was at the P-Ville Wally-World today and it was a TRYING experience. (sigh)

BR: KC is good people, jes a lil bit "exuberant" at times. ALL of the syrup in her house is maple. And thanks for the kind words! The beer was good indeed tonite, but would have been better with your company.

  8. Oh come on now... it was all in good humour! No valium required and it shouldn't have been read with anything but a little sarcasm and a shit load of humour - nothing more.

And you know it like I do... Hockey is to us what football is to many an American, high school (jr) or NFL.

Just be polite... that's all I ask.
