In today's mail...
That would be a box each of our two favorite cee-gars: the Acid Deep Dish and the Partagas Spanish Rosado (in the 6x54 Familia size). There's something of a back-story here and it has to do with the post title. I re-stocked the humidor in normal fashion about ten days ago. Then cigar.com came to me with a "you decide what's on sale" year end deal and I couldn't resist the price quoted on what you see above. In the meantime SN1 gifted me with an additional 24 cigars for Christmas... which created a storage crisis, the upshot being we have nearly 100 sticks on hand and storage space for only 50.
The solution:
We won't be buying any more ceegars for a while.
There were other benefits available to me in Former Happy Days as well, but we won't belabor the point. I so hear you on that one! Enjoy Buck.
ReplyDeleteThe Poor Man's Humidor Gotta love creativity!
ReplyDeleteHeh on the "other bennies," Deb. And necessity is the Mom of invention, no?
ReplyDeleteSounds like you just need to smoke a little more often.
ReplyDeleteI like the box those Acid ceegars come in. Although I picture it filled with ammunition or other such paraphernalia.
Today was a two-cigar day, BR. Sometimes that happens, especially after I receive a new shipment.
ReplyDeleteDrew Estate (the maker of Acids) does a bang-up job of packaging, with great wooden boxes.
The box that the Acid Ceegars come in is cool - I know. Someone should get a Nobel Peace prize for inventing the plastic baggie or maybe the plastic throw-away container. No longer do we have to save our butter, yogurt, cottage cheese containers.
ReplyDeleteA man does what needs to be done. That's what they say anyway.
ReplyDeleteNice to see it in action Buck!

ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree MORE, Lou. And they keep getting better and better, too. It wasn't so long ago that baggies weren't air-tight, but they are now. Ain't technology and progress a beautiful thang?
Kris: "They" say a lot o' things, LOL! And sometimes they're right!
